There is so much you can do with Photoshop; this week I tried a creative approach imitating a watercolor painting.

 

There are so many different effects and styles you can create using Photoshop. For this one I started a simple portrait. I put it on a paper texture background I got from textures.com. (They have some amazing textures.) I then found some watercolor images and played with my blending options to create the feel I wanted. This project definitely forced me to be creative; you have to try new things and see if they work. Sometimes you get it on the first try… but most the time it takes a while but the more time you spend the better it turns out.
