Bannack Ghost Town is a mysterious and beautiful place.
I recently (last fall) went on a trip to Bannack Ghost Town in Montana. This Ghost town has been abandoned for years, but has been kept well preserved by the staff who now allow visitors to come and experience the history. The buildings are very old and worn down but still standing. The old wall paper and doors show how each house has character and use to inhabit different families.
There was an eerie feeling being in that old empty town. So of course I had to take some shots that captured that creepiness.
This shot was a mashup between to shots taken and blended together.
As I was there I became entranced by not only the old wooden structures but the door ways to the buildings. They were all so unique and beautiful. They also captured the feeling of the ghost town, empty but full of life.
